After hunting for a good stage version of The Scarlet Pimpernel and being disappointed, I decided to write my own. It’s based entirely on public domain works and is itself licensed under Creative Commons (CC BY), which means you can reproduce it without asking me and even charge admission to your show, as long as you credit me as the author.
Cast: 10 male, 8 female, 6 male/female, plus extras (some parts can be doubled)
Runtime: 1 hr, 45 minutes (including a 15 minute intermission)
